Vor zwei Jahren und fünf Monaten hat sich mein Leben komplett verändert – ich bin in die Dialyse gekommen. Von einem Tag auf den anderen konnte ich nicht mehr arbeiten und mein Alltag hat sich radikal verändert.

Nach einigen Monaten habe ich beschlossen, nicht aufzugeben und etwas Neues zu beginnen. Ich habe mir meine erste Häkelnadel und mein erstes Garn gekauft – obwohl ich zuvor noch nie in meinem Leben gehäkelt hatte.

Ich habe klein angefangen, mit Plüschtieren, Tischdecken und kleinen Taschen. Alles habe ich Schritt für Schritt zu Hause selbst gelernt.

Seit Ende Januar fertige ich nun Schmuckstücke an. Ich habe erst vor etwa vier Monaten mit der Schmuckherstellung begonnen und arbeite jeden Tag daran, besser zu werden.

Für mich ist es sehr wichtig, meine Produkte zu verkaufen, da ich aufgrund meiner gesundheitlichen Situation nicht mehr arbeiten kann. Jedes Stück wird von mir mit viel Geduld, Zeit und Liebe handgefertigt.

Ich habe viel Zeit investiert, um all das zu lernen – nicht, weil es leicht war, sondern weil ich nicht zulassen wollte, dass die Dialyse mein Leben bestimmt.

I started small, making plush toys, tablecloths, and small bags. Everything I learned step by step at home, on my own.

Since the end of January, I have been making jewelry. I have only been creating jewelry for about four months, and I am still learning and improving every day.

It is very important for me to sell my creations, as I am no longer able to work due to my health condition. Each piece is handmade by me with time, patience, and love.

I have invested a lot of time into learning this craft – not because it was easy, but because I did not want dialysis to define my life.
